During this course you will travel up Harrison Lake to the Lillooet River. Along the way your teacher and Guide, Curtis Meyers will discuss techniques, tackle, and strategy for finding trout in the dead of winter. Once there you will have the opportunity to fish this beautiful, remote river and will have a great chance to catch Rainbows, Cutthroat, Dollies, and Whitefish. The day will include jet boat transportation from Harrison Hot Springs, casting instruction and river fishing techniques. Maximum enrollment will be 5 students.
Dates are subject to change due to water conditions *(i.e. flood; we will postpone to next available day). There is a good chance that weather will make the lake crossing very rough. If it is too dangerous and the boat has to turn around the day will be re-scheduled but it will cost an additional $50.00 per person for fuel. If this is the case you will still fish the first day, just not on the Lillooet. Transportation on the water via jet boat. Maximum 5 students per class.
**Pre-requisites are; basic fly fishing skills, 2-6 weight rod & reel system, wading apparel, flies, tippet, and cold weather gear. (Check your regulations for licensing requirements).
